Attendees included participants from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Lithuania, Israel, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, and Switzerland, showcasing the global scope and influence of FinTech Taipei as a platform for innovation and collaboration in fintech.

The event commenced with distinguished figures in Taiwan’s financial community, including Deputy Premier Ms. Cheng Li-Chiun, FSC Chairman Dr. Jin-Lung Peng, Acting Chairman of the Taiwan Financial Services Roundtable Mr. Hui-Yu Chen, and TABF Chairman Dr. Chung-Dar Lei, who gathered to celebrate Taiwan’s advancements in fintech. This year’s exhibition brought together over 130 leading fintech companies and institutions from both Taiwan and abroad, showcasing groundbreaking solutions in smart finance, payments, lending, regtech, insurtech, cybersecurity, and data integration, giving attendees an immersive look into the future of financial technology.
One of the event’s most prominent highlights was the International FinTech Forum, which explored three key themes: AI Development and Transformation, AI Innovation and Application, and AI Policy Governance. The forum examined how AI can enhance financial services, drive innovation, and support regulatory compliance, providing valuable insights and fostering cross-border collaboration. Discussions brought fresh perspectives and pioneering ideas, reinforcing Taiwan’s position as a leading hub for fintech thought leadership in the Asia-Pacific region.
The FinTech Taipei Awards Ceremony was another highlight, celebrating achievements in Financial Innovation, Green FinTech, Co-Creation Models, and International Market Potential. With a focus on sustainable finance, the awards supported Taiwan’s ambitions for a greener financial future and spotlighted green fintech initiatives as vital to Taiwan’s long-term sustainability goals.
To further underscore Taiwan’s progress, TABF established a Policy Pavilion showcasing advancements in AI-powered identity verification, fraud prevention, and anti-money laundering efforts. This pavilion highlighted both governmental policy successes and TABF’s contributions to financial security and literacy, underscoring a commitment to protecting citizens against financial fraud.
With its innovative displays and forward-looking discussions, FinTech Taipei 2024—led by TABF and guided by the expertise of the FSC—set a new benchmark for global fintech events, building a solid foundation for the internationalization and sustainable growth of Taiwan’s fintech industry.
